Erika has 20 years of eventing experience and will help you get more from your horse, whether flat work, show jumping or cross country.
Catering for solo riders or groups, lessons can be tailored around riding therapeutically to improve the horse's core strength and way of going. She offers Equine Physiotherapy too
Whilst working as a police inspector, Erika was also a serious amateur competitor for many years, representing her local riding clubs at many national finals in show jumping, dressage and eventing.
She has evented to 2* level all over the country and even represented GB at the Rural Rider (amateur) European Championships in Belgium in 2003.
Now retired, keeping horses fit and healthy and performing at their best via science-based methods is her passion and at the heart of her ethos. Certified in Equine Sports Massage by Equissage Europe in 2016 following her retirement, she then began her therapeutic career.
A few years later she then extended her skills by taking the College of Animal Physiotherapy’s Diploma course to provide clients with a wider range of services and knowledge. In addition, she is a member of the International Association of Animal Therapists (IAAT) and has a Certificate in Equine Sports Massage.
Erika is also a UKCC Riding Coach, and has coached riders for many years integrating physiotherapy into her sessions. She also does dogs!
